What About the Voice?

We send athletes to clinics for cheer, football, and dance… but what about the voice?

Your voice is the one instrument you carry everywhere — to school, to work, to auditions, to conversations at the dinner table. And just like athletes train their muscles to prevent injury and perform at their best, your vocal muscles deserve the same care.
Think about it: we stretch before a run, warm up before a game, and practice before a recital. Yet most of us speak, sing, and shout through our day without ever pausing to check in with our vocal health. The result? Fatigue, strain, or even injury.
Voice training isn’t just for Broadway performers — it’s for teachers, coaches, business leaders, students, and anyone who wants to communicate with confidence. A little awareness and a few simple exercises can make all the difference in keeping your voice strong, flexible, and expressive.
Your voice matters. Take care of it — because it’s the one instrument you’ll use for a lifetime.
That’s exactly what we’ll explore together at my upcoming Vocal Wellness Workshop at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy, Thursday, September 4th from 5–7pm.
Join me to discover practical tools that will keep your voice healthy, strong, and ready for whatever lies ahead.
